Would need a bid of £70m minimum. £200k a week for 5 years in £50m in wages. Plus any sign on fee, agent fees etc. Wouldn't be far off £150m for the full package. There may be other considerations - ambition of the club, trophies etc but an extra 80k on top of an already massive wage? To move to Newcastle. No thanks. Two years ago it was Man Utd and their sources saying he'd want the move, last year it was Arsenal's sources saying he's desperate for a move there (when it later came out it was merely Arsenal's intermediaries feeding the press that story to convince their own board).
