In the last 70 years a quick Wikipedia search indicates an FA Cup 1952, 1955 Intertoto cup win in 2006 Inter-city Fairs Cup in 1969 Texaco cup 1974 and 1975 Anglo Italian Cup 1973 Fair play, after reading that list, it's hard to imagine why Madders would want to stay at Leicester when this Newcastle club won the Intertoto cup when he was 10. The league will become less and less competitive as the big 6 is already a 2 and most of the rest can’t keep up. Newcastle will be competing at the top end of the table within the next 3/4 years and Maddison might fancy his chances of being a catalyst for that. As much as it pains me to admit, their ceiling is far far higher than ours.
