It's a simple thing that Youri doesn't need to pass when there's a PSV player literally in front of Evans?

We havent done bad, but we have 1 or 2 players who are really poor & have been for some time. Somehow they keep getting picked & players who did really well last Sunday are left out. Poor & negative team selection

but everything else looks off, started the half and it looked like a gaping hole infront of the back 4 like we'd just had Wilf sent off. Barnes not passing the ball, missing the target. Maddison wasteful. Evans giving it away,  Youri even worse.

 

Thing is PSV we're intimidating in the lead up, historic European club, big following in a spirited country. Apart from Goetze, Zahavi, Gakpo & Sangare I don't think they have much,  and most of their play has come through our own mistakes.

 

It's that same old Rodgers European bellyflop I'm afraid.  At least next season we won't be in Europe, eh?

This is Not Rodgers fault..ihr Star players missing or giving too many chances.....

It's all down to management when certain players make the same mistakes over and over again. It's absolutely unacceptable how a professional player like Barnes won't pass the ball to a teammate for a simple tap in when even in Sunday league ALL amateurs pass the ball in the exact same situation. He's done it dozens of times, a couple of times he got lucky and scored from a tight angle. Management is too soft, fine him 2 weeks wages otherwise he will never understand and improve. 

Same with Tielemans and few others with these one touch back passes to the CBs. 

Sorry for the rant but some things I see are just bizarre.

What if someone's lifetime local accent influences how the pronounce certain words and names. Someone from Barnsley, for example, would struggle to pronounce names in the way you seem to expect. People have flaws. Get over it.

It worked for football teams for 100 years before some managers made playing out from the back fashionable.

 

Does it matter if nobody’s there if the balls booted forward? They’d do well to score from the halfway line.
