Truss could easily get shown up in those TV Debates and Badenoch comes through as the right wing candidate.

Badenoch is probably the clearest communicator left in this, expect her to impress tonight - although I do think Truss still makes final two.

Truss today 'I always have and always will stick to my beliefs '.......

There is absolutely no chance that badenoch will finish ahead of truss in the mp vote

truss could be the tub of lard in HIGNFU and still get more votes ….

Penny is going to get shafted isn't she!?...

Have this real horrible feeling that Truss is going to be PM 🤬!!...

... Take your time and let that thought sink in.

Complete disaster with her in charge.  In normal times I'd be all for it, as hopefully she'd be the one to take them down but, with the situation in Europe, she's the last person needed to be in charge.  Complete disaster in the making.

Yep, it’s a complete stitch up. Time for new governance. @reformuk

Not only that but complete reform in the way in which the political system works.

I do not think that a selection few Tory members should decide who leads the country either.  They are not representative of the country as a whole and therefore should not hold so much power.

Apparently, the average salary for train drivers is £54k, which is more than specialist doctors' pay. I'm not convinced that train drivers' jobs require more skills than those of specialist doctors.

If we are picking random public servants wages to compare why don’t you compare train driver to MPs, train driver looks much better value to me.

The secretary of state for education earns £145k, a top head teacher earns £125k and doesn't get sacked every year.

MPs are poorly paid when compared to other business leaders which is why the quality isn't always what it should be.

Airline pilots have to steer up/down and left/right, bus drivers have to steer left/right, but train drivers - the rails do the steering for them!

Your logic here is rather backwards.  The very rich don't care, they can afford private schools regardless.  Those impacted are people who are not very rich who choose to send their children to private schools, for all kinds of reasons.  I do think there is a case for removing Charitable status, but I am not convinced it will do anything other than make Private schools even more elite by pushing out the professional classes.  You might also therefore end up having some more VAT but having to fund many thousands more state school places with it.  If people want to pay to send their kids to private school I don't really see the harm.  How about investing in state schools so they have better facilities?

Surely if you can afford £9k+ fees a term, you’d be rich? My family is middle class and really couldn’t afford that.

Coming across quite well so far. Credit for being the only one with balls to say Bojo isn't honest. Guess he's got nothing to lose currently so might as well go for it.
