rachhere Posted 17 October 2022 Share Posted 17 October 2022 Just hope that her plans which have caused organisations like RSPB so much concern for our environment will similarly be shelved. How can you get so much wrong?
Popular Post RoboFox Posted 17 October 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 17 October 2022 (edited) She has to resign. She has fvcked it so comprehensively in these opening weeks that there is no route to redemption. It's genuinely staggering how they still manage to surpass their own failures time and time again and are allowed to carry on. They have absolutely no mandate whatsoever. They have lost the right to govern. General election, NOW. Edited 17 October 2022 by RoboFox 8

The tax policy was her central idea and now scrapped by Hunt who she had no time for before the fiasco.

Our international reputation is being trashed, the pound has tanked, our economy is in tatters, a fifth of the population are in poverty, people's energy bills have more than doubled due to government inaction and indifference, people's mortgages are skyrocketing as a direct result of government action, we have millions of people using food banks, we're taking about ****ing WARM banks this winter, we're facing blackouts, we have a Prime Minister we didn't vote for enacting a manifesto we didn't vote for and she's about to be replaced without our say. This is a Tory crisis made by the Tory Party who have actively made the country poorer, isolated, weak and humiliated on the global stage. We need an election ****ing now. Agree with most of this, but the PM we didn't vote for being replaced etc. Isn't that how it's always been? We can't just change the rules because we don't want this PM, it has to be done and changed forever, which I have no problem with, but not just randomly because we don't like Boris or Truss, it has to be the same for all parties and all PMs. Asif they've U-Turned on all the mini budget, the Cons are gonna fall even further behind in the polls. Those free voters who move from party to party are all moving away from blue.

Still it’s turning off public opinion in their favour so it’s probably self defeating.

Creating divisions between yourselves and the people you are seeking to influence is no way in which to start a movement. Oops, I think you were talking about protesting against the government, rather than the oil protestors. Sorry Oz. Anyway, general point above!
