It's easy to come in and clean up that steaming turd Kwarteng left and look competent. Don't forget this is the guy that badly mismanaged the NHS. 10

He does look assured and confident, something Truss ain’t got it and it is important, but suspect too much damage has been done now. Alrhough two years is a long time and those polls people love to post are just reactionary and bear little relation to election day

bovril Posted 17 October 2022 Share Posted 17 October 2022 (edited) The worst economic pain is yet to come. If the Tories win again then Labour may as well disband. Edited 17 October 2022 by bovril

Maybe the best thing she could do is to stand down.

All of the NHS’s issues now are a direct result of his policies. It would have been even worse if it wasn’t for Matt Hancock of all people sorting it out. This year excess deaths are 20% above average. It’s not because of covid, it’s because ambulances aren’t turning up when people need them, it’s because people aren’t getting operated on when they need to be etc. Hunt, and his partners in crime Cameron and Osborne caused that. He’s a criminal.

Yeah bearing in mind you never repeat back an insult to defend someone, it was pretty obvious why she did that. Naughty

He’s a criminal. Generally, I would agree with this as Hunt (and others before him, but mainly him) underfunded the NHS massively. His Gov oversaw the biggest cuts in social care and the biggest rate of staff leaving the NHS and the lowest recruitment of staff of all levels, due to his handling of the NHS when he was HS and that is why operations are delayed and ambulances are stuck at hospital for hours on end as there's very limited social care to allow hospital patients to be safely discharged which would then free up beds for post-operative treatment or admissions from A&E. It's not exactly difficult to understand. Edited 17 October 2022 by Parafox

Facecloth Posted 17 October 2022 Share Posted 17 October 2022 If Truss resigns, and they try and replace her with yet another unelected leader, Charles should refuse to let them form a government. He wouldn't be abusing his privilege in those circumstances calling for a GE before a government is formed.
