Starmer's got a battle on his hand if Hunt becomes leader. He's looked very impressive in his answers. You wonder why the Tory party have preferred to install leaders like Johnson and Truss. It's like a grown-up has entered a  classroom full of 11 year old.

He does look assured and confident, something Truss ain’t got it and it is important, but suspect too much damage has been done now.

Alrhough two years is a long time and those polls people love to post are just reactionary and bear little relation to election day

What I've been saying all along. Maybe the best thing she could do is to stand down.

I was going to say that Truss owes Morduant one here big time here for fronting this until she started feeding the headline writers lines like 'hiding under a desk'.

Yeah bearing in mind you never repeat back an insult to defend someone, it was pretty obvious why she did that. Naughty

All of the NHS’s issues now are a direct result of his policies. It would have been even worse if it wasn’t for Matt Hancock of all people sorting it out.

This year excess deaths are 20% above average. It’s not because of covid, it’s because ambulances aren’t turning up when people need them, it’s because people aren’t getting operated on when they need to be etc. Hunt, and his partners in crime Cameron and Osborne caused that. He’s a criminal.

Generally, I would agree with this as Hunt (and others before him, but mainly him) underfunded the NHS massively. His Gov oversaw the biggest cuts in social care and the biggest rate of staff leaving the NHS and the lowest recruitment of staff of all levels,  due to his handling of the NHS when he was HS and that is why operations are delayed and ambulances are stuck at hospital for hours on end as there's very limited social care to allow hospital patients to be safely discharged which would then free up beds for post-operative treatment or admissions from A&E.

It's not exactly difficult to understand.

If Truss resigns, and they try and replace her with yet another unelected leader, Charles should refuse to let them form a government.

He wouldn't be abusing his privilege in those circumstances calling for a GE before a government is formed.

Of course he would. lol

Don’t be ridiculous, not saying it should not happen, but what you claim is totally false.

Abusing his privilege would be refusing on the grounds he disagreed with the politics of the party.

Refusing based on this revolving door of unelected shitness can't be allowed to continue for the good of the nation is using it responsibly.

They waste millions. A family member of mine has been on the end of their bureaucratic misdemeanours which ended up costing them thousands and was nothing to do with government. It’s too easy to blame government for everything.
