Fantastic performance by this very young team. Did exceptionally well to control the ball and pace of the game. They are a very good side indeed as you can see. We can't expect to compete with the likes of Coutinho. Overall, I'm really pleased with the commitment and the number of chances we continue to create. Puts us in a good position for Thursday.

This team is devoid of creating chances, five shots all game, two of which were free kicks and three measly efforts which can’t be considered chances. Feels more and more like we need a fresh start in the summer. Rodgers isn’t going to bring back exciting football again, possession over risks that may lead somewhere is what he's been striving for.

We have been overtaken by Newcastle- well done BR. He has messed up qualifications for the Champions League, two Europa League, a possible opportunity to get into the Europa League this season with a good run at the end of this season, and no doubt he will bottle the game against Roma in the Mickey Mouse cup

Would've preferred a loss with kids playing, now we have an even more exhausted midfield, lacking in guile and confidence with a decent Roma team smelling blood. ****ing shit management from Brendan. Anti management even. God damn it.

I'm sure in Rodger's alternate reality that will be another great performance. Failed to create one decent chance at home with nothing to lose. When you create a defensive mentality through team selection, tactics and a negative mindset scoring can become very difficult.
