Yeah you could probably make a case for Iborra, he certainly had some excellent games in the early Puel days such as the Spurs at home win.

Kristiansen signing is the most encouraging for me. 
 

That’s got full progression from being scouted, assessed and signed. If we show that level of thinking and decisiveness on other problem areas, we will get back to how we were.

One positive irrelevant of the success of the 3 players at least we targetted the right positions and actual brought round pegs for round holes.

 

It the past we few years we have brought in RBs to play LB and LW to play RW.

 

Hope we are going to look more balanced.

We seem to have slipped back into old habits of the first 7 games, awful individual errors and dreadful finishing.

 

Whilst not playing well, we could have easily have pick up points from Liverpool, Forest and Fulham.

 

I hope Tete is half as good as you say he is.

 

I'm excited to see him, Barnes and Maddison together. 

 

I really hope with those two in the side it takes some pressure of Barnes.

 

Keep dream about us finishing in the top 10 and winning the FA Cup.

5-6 players in the Summer of a similar fashion, Mendy/Bertrand/Vestergaard and Thomas (Loan) out, and we could genuinely return to challenging the Top 8.

This guy could possibly change our season. In one window his hit the money with all 3. That victory was down to him as much as anyone. He’s set a high bar now…

Notable that all of the new signings rank highly for forwards passes or carries. Tete's stats are hilarious, gets the ball and just starts running with it! Kristiansen is very impressive for a 20 year old.

 

I'm pretty sure these stats factored in highly to why these players were signed in the first place.

He wasn't in the job when they spent that money so no, not unduly. Their head of recruitment over the summer was Joe Shields who has since left for Chelsea.

Bloody hope he’s good at his job as he’s got a massive role to play over the summer. Our squad needs transforming from a bunch of nice and tidy footballers to a bunch of fighters with the mentality for a tough season in the Championship. Given the expected exodus we’ll be looking at around 8-9 (bargain) signings and loans with probably 5 of them starting next season. No pressure!
