Brighton are not just on the Beach, they are going out on the the tide..

Everton seagulls came down, and nicked their chips, and Brighton running down the beach trying to chase down those pesky scouser-gulls..

Two absolute shit teams are staying up this year, possibly by a point or even goal difference. Teams are going ages without winning and yet one could take them up several places.

Survival this year is no major achievement.

Would love to see the running stats for the other teams at the bottom compared to us. Everton are running their proverbials off here.

I would love to know our running stats for the season. Many times this season it’s felt like the other team has more players

on the pitch.

If We won, our 2 base duels,or just one,we would be still safe…

All of them either drew or won their own swing-games…

We built our lads up,so much we the FT forum conned ourselves…

Note - Brighton make 4 changes at Half Time when they are playing unacceptably bad - we just brought Tete on??

Difference is our bench we have no game changers. Its like guarding a Fort, going to the armour... to find water pistols.

One of their changes is Levi Colwill at the back... it's not just about game changers who can create it is about making a point to the players that performances like their first half will not be tolerated

Exactly. Brighton are desperate for points to get into Europe, they aren't bending over. This is what a team fighting for their lives looks like.

yeah but everyone wants little old leicester city to go down, so even if they're fighting to make europe they're not gonna put a fight up just so we go down .

It’s a fair point, but this speaks more to our recent shocking recruitment than the manager I would say

Whens the last time all 3 promoted clubs stayed up?

Last time was 2017/18 season, Newcastle United, Brighton and Huddersfield.

The only other times for the premier league were:-

2001/02 season, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.

2011/12 season, QPR, Norwich City and Swansea.

Southampton and Bournemouth doing the double over us, basically sums up the ineptitude of our season. Forget other games and results, we’ve not been responsible or good enough for own performances.

Nobody in their right mind was touching it. Well, nobody we’d have universally agreed on.  A negligent and ignorant board that were asleep at the wheel. This is now the price we are almost certainly going to pay. It could get really messy for a couple of years 😳😳

It’s going to be a very messy few years I agree.I just don’t think Top has a clue.Might as well put the expansion on hold now. It’s quite scary to think where any sort of funds are going to come from. What an absolute ****up!
