Desperate stuff. We've lost 22 games this year, we aren't going down because Everton spent money on average to crap players and managed a few more points.

It would be a bit pot kettle in our place as well to a lesser degree, as didn’t we have to settle with the football league for FFP breaches after escaping the Championship last time? 😂

We did. We need to take this season on the chin and sort ourselves out, not get away with things on technicalities.

Well, part of the reason we didn't strengthen was to remain within the rules.....

We also have a squad full of players who finished in European places and won a Cup. Yet we are sat below a team who are going at well under a point per game.

This season is fully on us.

Going to be in a lower league than Luton, Brentford and Bournemouth. Absolutely grim.

Even worse if it's Coventry and Forest for you?!

Mind you least none of them are managed by a manager you've sacked in recent times.

I know there are a few..

;)

We were doing ok under Edwards too.

Barmy decision - one of the worst.

Potentially being dumb here, why has that pitch invader been charged with assault for pushing Eddie Howe?

Understand the pitch invasion aspect of his charge obviously, but assault?

If he put his hands on him, and gave him a push that’s assault, hence the charge.

8 months for Toney means he’s allowed to train again from mid Jan 2024

makes next season pretty tough for him as he can stay fit but theoretically he cannot take part in any footballing activities

I wonder what happens if he goes to dubai for a few months and plays some non competitive games with local sides ??

Brentford will be looking for a short term replacement then in the summer .

Probably not bad timing as they have time to prepare .

But conveniently right before the summer break, so feasibly he misses just under half a season.

Should've started it from pre-season to hit it home harder.

Luton Town replacing us in the PL 😂....

Justin should have stayed put!

He loved it there too and they loved him.

If he went back to Luton and we got them in one of the cups and they sang 'he left cause you're shit' - one it would be Karmic and two it would be true
