I remember when they were supposed to be banned from Europe, then got away with a little fine; meaning we missed out. Equivalent of doping - however there’s no way you can stop it. My whole pessimistic view on it is that FFP is just a means to stop other clubs challenging the ‘top 4’.

They weren’t found innocent of the uefa charges

the procedure was out of time so uefa weren’t entitled to charge them with offences in that period

PL doesn’t have ‘out of time’ rules so Man City  will have to keep challenging the charges (as they have done this week) to keep delaying the hearing and any sanctions that follow (which will no doubt be appealed against). Could easily drag on for years !

6 changes from last Sunday’s weak team or 6 changes from Thursday night ?

I presume it's Thursday.

From BBC:

West Ham make six changes to the side that beat AZ Alkmaar to reach the Europa Conference League final - though key trio Declan Rice, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta all start.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and Danny Ings are among those to come in, with Michail Antonio and Saïd Benrahma dropping to the bench.

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Emerson, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Paqueta, Bowen Ings.

Hammers win.

We draw with toon.

Last game. 89 mins

Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

Leeds 2-1 spurs

Leicester 1-1 west ham

Everton are staying up and not pushing for a winner and hoping leeds don't score as they would need to win by 2.

Spurs equalise

Everton celebrate but hold their breath..

We score in injury time.

Full time whistle goes and we stay up on 34 points thanks to goal difference

Full times

Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

Leeds 2-2 spurs

Leicester 2-1 west ham

Ah, the competition they boo and had a part in trying to end yet so desperate to win.

Bizarre relationship that club has with that competition.

Man City fans don't boo the champions league as a competition and they had no part in trying to end it?

You've made 2 things up and then called them bizarre (which admittedly they would be if either were true)

Feels like the PL has lost control and hoping these issues just go away.

They'll be an independent panel in the not too distant future.

Obviously by "independent" we know what that means.

EFL gives points deductions yearly for breaking rules, Prem threatens too and then runs away probably with a pocketful of pound notes.

That's exactly what it is. The greedy rich clubs have been working for ages to make sure others can't get a look in.

Removing shared gate receipts was the start, ages ago.

That didn't work well enough, so they started the Premier League.

Then they enthusiastically embraced FFP, aka 'pulling up the ladder.'

Then we went and won the league*, so they had to try harder - hence the 'super league' nonsense. And they will never stop, because the only thing driving them is insatiable greed.

*The truly remarkable thing about us winning the Premier League is that the whole reason the Premier League was invented was to stop us (well - us and clubs like us) winning it.

They boo the anthem.

They were part of the greedy 6. Whether they were talked into joining or not, they were part of it.

You realise who you're talking to? Bloke would start an argument with his shadow

A bit like us saying how corrupt this league is yet we're desperate to remain in it lol
