They weren’t found innocent of the uefa charges the procedure was out of time so uefa weren’t entitled to charge them with offences in that period PL doesn’t have ‘out of time’ rules so Man City will have to keep challenging the charges (as they have done this week) to keep delaying the hearing and any sanctions that follow (which will no doubt be appealed against). That's exactly what it is. The greedy rich clubs have been working for ages to make sure others can't get a look in. Removing shared gate receipts was the start, ages ago. That didn't work well enough, so they started the Premier League. Then they enthusiastically embraced FFP, aka 'pulling up the ladder.' Then we went and won the league*, so they had to try harder - hence the 'super league' nonsense.
