It also puts way more pressure on any youth players coming in to perform - Luke Thomas for example may have been a different player entirely if he'd developed properly on loan instead of being thrown in at the deep end against world class wingers. Not saying I know who exactly my targets would be for a Championship season, but it would certainly help clear out some deadwood clearly here for a payday first and foremost. I'd accept a consolidation season if necessary to rebuild a spine that actually gives a shit. Ugh. I hate it right now. True but we have much better resources than most teams in the championship I would imagine, there's plenty of time I know we don't do things very fast but still what 2 months to sort it out.
