Everton look alright. A lot better than us. Frank isn't the best but he seems to have instilled a bit of determination in that team.

They do the minimum which is fight, with some grit and determination where the tactics are missing

Since the 1999/2000 season, we've been involved in six games where one side has scored six times.

00/01, PL, Arsenal (a) 1-6

01/02, LC, Leeds (h) 0-6

02/03, D1, Ipswich (a) 1-6

10/11, Ch, Portsmouth (a) 1-6

12/13, Ch, Ipswich (h) 6-0

21/22, PL, Man City (a) 3-6

So we've not lost a league game by a six goal margin this century, unlike Forest!

No match during this period has seen seven or eight goals scored by one side, and one was where we scored nine, of course.

I would get too smug.  We're on course to be the worst ever premier league side!

I just think Everton’s intensity and tempo look far better than us. There’s more belief. Their wingers actually run at opposition players too.

Wait until you see us Tomorrow. We have turned off and re-booted.

You've missed the 6-1 win v Huddersfield on Chris Wood's debut.

You can tell how much Mane helped this side. The midfield is obliterated with no Henderson or Thiago, but they look a shadow of themselves. Mane gave them so much in the final third but also a bit deeper in terms of their press and energy.

I'm all for it, but the difference from last season to this is staggering.

I don't rate Lampard particularly as a manager but you listen to him speak with enthusiasm and commitment and you just wish we had that from the coach,

At least he commands a little respect, he warned Gordon would see a whole different side of him if he downed tools to get a transfer.

Rogers seems to have only one mode, the happy clapper
