Would like to know what his s/o fee was ……….

 

they got a £200m player for £50m 

 

What they have to give him in wages and s/o fee is predictated on what his release fee is from Man City ….

 

if that’s £75m then you would think the player can demand the best part of 100m in additional wages/s o fee. that 900k/week over four years is worth pretty much 100m (he would expect a salary of 400k) so maybe these huge wages are I/o the fee.

Seems like Fofana is major injury prone and will always get injured every season resulting in missing half the season. 

It's really not that ideal for a team...all this chopping and changing. Thinking now, Fofana going....it been a positive outcome for us

According to some Michael Beale leaving has probably made a pretty big impact on him.

Good to see tbh. He took them from bottom of the Championship to the Premier League within the same season. They'll probably go down but it's nice to see the same manager given a chance to get them back up again, similar to when Dyche was relegated with Burnley.

Gerrard actually said, something along the lines of, it would take him "years" to become a good as Beale is as a coach.

 

Beale currently sitting nicely in the Championship play offs. Obviously rated well as a coach, and now doing okay so far as a manager.

Tbh, could be any number of reasons for doing this 

 

they’ve certainly made it more expensive to sack him but it should help the dynamics in the changing room where some players may have been thinking that they needn’t respect him because he wouldnt be there much longer (his contract expired in the summer)

Obviously backing him to keep them up which is fair enough but how much do Forest fans trust their owners to stick by him if they keep losing?

 

I suspect they have seen the fan reaction to the reports Cooper might get sacked and decided to keep with him.

 

Whereas when we sacked  Munoz for example last season most of the fan base agreed with it.

 

Just they didn't realise we'd end up with worse appointments.
