They’ve still had a much better window than us!

Have they? In terms of spending money in isolation. But they seem to be in a desperate position given what Parker has said. And the squad looks thin. Rothwell and the other signing they've made are both injured.

Be amazed if they stay up.

They only have 3 CBs... Give them Vestergaard!!

The media would have you believe we're the only team struggling this window yet Bournemouth and Fulham have barely signed anyone, Wolves had added one player who wasn't there last season.

Still a lot of unknowns about this season.

Exactly. We’ll be alright …… this season.

Yeah but we've also got Neto back fit, and have switched to 4 at the back and are actually attacking teams in pre-season. Early days but we look much better going forwards. Just depends if the defence and the Kilman/Collins partnership copes ok. Coady has been dropped permanently it seems.

Do you think he will move on?

Unlikely. If we could get £15m-20m for him and he wanted to leave for regular game time, then he'd go with all Wolves fans best wishes. We could do with him as back up, but he can't really play in a two he's too slow nowadays.

How come? Thought he was your best CB?!

Not any more. As above he's a bit too slow and can only really play in the middle of a three. Kilman outperformed him regularly last season, and Collins already looks better. We may play with a three in a few games this season but can't begrudge him leaving if he feels that's what's best.

Fairly disheartening just watching the big 6 throw money around all summer. Just continues to highlight the gap between them and everyone else. Whilst FFP continues to limit those spending within their means and not those with money

I think the gaps getting smaller. There is plenty of money around this summer, just not from us unfortunately.

Leeds have spent more than Chelsea, Forest have spent more than Liverpool, West Ham have spent more than Man U.

The 5 subs will also benefit the big clubs as they have more strength in depth

Another reason we need to change our tactical approach. Go aggressive from the 1st minute especially against mid table downwards teams, be 2-0 up around the 60th min mark or earlier and make wise use of the 5 subs rule. Easy to say, hard to do ofc.

I’m still so bitter about the Super League. It was so obvious that they’d just get away with it and carry on as before. Like they do with everything else.

Its ****ing boring, seeing a “breaking story” about the latest version of Man City or Chelsea bending/breaking rules and facing possible sanctions and then **** all happens. A month later they’ll sign your best player.

Ten Haag is playing a dangerous game with his treatment of CR7... I know he's not been an angel, but first thing he should have done is get him onside - he's far and away their best player and they will struggle without him next season.

Fvck that he's not the future of the club, he's a cvnt and he's one of the first they need to ship off. If he wants to be out of the squad get him all the way out of the squad and don't have him train with the others.

United for years has been a collection of prima donnas that don't work as a unit. One of his first tasks is to actually turn them in to a squad with the right attitude all working together for a common goal. Sack off anyone that's not buying in. Pogba has gone, that's job one done, this **** is next no matter how many ballon dor Luka Modric and Mesut Ozil spoon fed him*.

(*ok so that's a bit tongue in cheek but still.)

Say wot?

Leeds have broke even and by the time Chelsea have finished it could be near the 300m mark if they get all that they are after, bearing in mind they not bidding for multiple players in the same position hoping 1 comes off they are bidding in 4 different positions all with wedge.

Arsenal could spend best part of 200m by the time they finish.

West Ham, Newcastle, Spurs & Man U could be 150m

Man C & Liverpool 100m only because they have balanced otherwise could be 200m

Then put wages on all those big names that you have come to the premiership.

I mean even today it was announced that a 22yr old Foden signed a long term contract on 225k per week

Our average spend is 30-60m in a good year, the gulf is getter bigger not smaller
