Just so you know everyone in Plymouth is now a Plymouth fan as they are in the papa johns trophy final… after April 2nd they will all be back to supporting any of the “BIG 6” depending on who is flavour of the month…. It’s a very rare occurrence I will see any fans from anyone outside of the so called elite teams (Plymouth aside)

My mrs is from Plymouth. All of her mates fella’s are Liverpool fans.

odd bunch

They’ve always had decent support, considering their division and location. But you forget how big the place is and then it makes sense.
The southwest always has a lot of big 6 fans.

I get the argument about excessive advertising during tv games, even about not having betting kiosks inside the ground but banning all mention of it completely just seems draconian. People have all sorts of addictions. Alcohol, food, porn, even shopping but we don't restrict everyone based on what a few people struggle to control. We don't limit the number of pints you buy in a pub, the number of fags you get at a supermarket or the amount you spend in Next, Primark or wherever.  I have a bet every week because a certain company sends me a free bet on a Friday and it's funded many takeaways. It's years since I used my own cash because I'm a tight bastard like that.

I agree you don't have to ban all mention of it but you shouldn't have blanket coverage. And regarding the other "vices", when was the last time you saw a team sponsored by Rothmans, Carlsberg or Pornhub?

Tbf Clough makes a good point about refs and it has been media analysis that has made it worse. They called for VAR.

absolutely, it’s a pretty rough job for criticism. Every mistake is highlighted and suddenly deems you as doing a bad job.

The media makes everything worse because of how much these decisions get spoken about. Must be a horrible feeling to look back and realize you’ve got one wrong.

Problem is, there’s not enough people setting out for that career and because of that the standards are pretty low. But the fact we can argue on here for hours over decisions highlights the difficulty in most decisions.

if you ever get the chance to ref a kids game i highly recommend it. Very eye opening

Could be anything this game couldn’t it!

I do like a craven cottage night game though.

Be interesting to see how Wolves react after the new manager bounce well and truly ended again Bournemouth!

Fulham really struggle without Mitrovic.

I think it’s a trust thing. Vinicius is just as capable at hold up, even showed it at the end. It’s like any team when someone new comes off the bench, you hardly ever see them getting passed to.

If they can get over that I think Vinicius will do well for them.

Ideally not this season. They've got enough points now 😄

lol indeed.

I am pleased for Marco Silva though, always thought he had something but ended up in the Everton mess and it could have killed him, taking another championship job was a great move!

Clearly wanted to stay in England too, that two year break he had is rare for any manager really, I’m sure he was offered a tonne of jobs in Europe in that time
