It’s society. How many people do you see walking around with their heads down ion their phones, walking around with headphones in or even more dangerous cycling with headphones. Im not even that old. Late 30’s. But I love being outside as I was any time I had a chance. It’s a sad state of affairs and it happens too often. Like you say her parents have paid a lot and they can’t even be bothered to make eye contact or have a 10 second conversation. That’s all it takes. Younger generation have forgotten how to socialise. Win whilst our rivals drop points and we look right back in the mix. Lose whilst our rivals pick up points and we’ll look dead and buried.
