Premier League 2022/23 Thread

Could have done with West Ham winning today.

Last thing we need is them still in the mix for the last game when we will need something.

Hopefully  they get through that Europa Final and have their minds on that( IF the final is after the last game?)

At least we don’t get ridiculed by almost every other club……..

Not yet anyway.

That might change soon…..Brendan reported in Evening Standard to be Spurs choice and Jamie Redknapp rating him highly as a very good manager!!

There's no chance they go down. We need them full on the beach on the last day ideally with a European final 3 days after.

Win tomorrow and we are 2 points off them (their game in hand is Man City) I would sooner have teams in our sites.

Yeah but they play Leeds a few days before, we want them needing 3 points against Leeds to guarantee survival, then on the beach against us.

I think Forest get another 4 or 6 points from their remaining games, don’t think they’ll get 7 or 9 as many seem to think. I hope not anyway! Genuinely today was a game they needed a point from minimum, to throw it away in the last 10 minutes is a huge blow for them.

Praying Leeds fail to beat Bournemouth tomorrow.

Win on Monday and we’ll be looking good, not sure we will though.

Leeds will beat Bournemouth tomorrow. No way will all results go in our favour. But then things get really tough for Leeds.

West Ham have won 1 more game than us this season. Its hardly like we are playing Arsenal. West Ham playing under little pressure on the last day is likely more dangerous as far as i am concerned.

Lets just get as many results as we can and hope as many teams get dragged in as possible.

Bournemouth are in a bit of a positive, possibly unexpected, run though.

Though they'd really struggle from when they lost 4-0 at home to West Ham.

Amazing form. They bullied us, although Sadler had us in Brendan lite mode and decided Amartey was the solution to our problems. But i just can't see Bournemouth keeping it up. Tomorrow is the day they slip up.

How would you describe losing 4-0 to a team below you ?

Stunned forest managed to lose after bringing on master of the dark arts - young Ryan Yates.

Howe is really showing what a middle management waste of space brown nosing knob that Brendan is isnt he. Thats how you charge for a champions league space you look guaranteed to get lad.

Smash Everton and we can crack on with undoing the damage the waste of space has inflicted on us

You haven't got a clue what will happen in the Leeds game tomorrow much like Forest hadn't bagged 3pts at 3-45pm today.

If Leeds don't win tomorrow they're in serious trouble. Next two games are Man City (a) and Newcastle (h) and their last two games are West Ham (a) who might not be safe and Tottenham (h) who might have Europe to play for. There match tomorrow is as big as the Leicester vs Everton match for both Leicester and Everton. Wins look like very hard things to come by for everyone after Monday night.

Bournemouth will be giving it their all tomorrow, lose and Leeds go within 3pts of them. People might assume Bournemouth are safe but they want, they'll want to get at least a point to get to 37pts and keep that 6pt gap between Leeds and themselves.

They wouldn’t have a European final 3 days later should they get there as it’s on June 7th

Ideal scenario would be for West Ham to be knocked out the SF but need to beat Leeds to be safe and if they manage that they might be glad to see the season over by the time we play.

Got told off by the bar staff for shouting “you reds” (ironically) earlier in a Nottingham pub, we explained the situation to the Mansfield supporting bar manager and he was in agreement afterwards
