What I will just never understand about this style of football is how it can be up to our centre backs to start attacks and create chances.  Any team that puts 11 men behind the ball can just sit looking at Evans, Fofana, Soyuncu and Amartey and think "go on then Pirlo".  Unsurprisingly almost every time we give the ball away or create pressure on ourselves moving backward towards goal.

Youri has rightly been slaughtered but Mendy has been just as bad. He kills our momentum for any attack by being unable to pass forwards
