Danny Ward

We need a Statue of Danny Saving that last penalty that didn’t quite reach the goal line to commemorate such a historic display. Maybe we could have a little BDCR statue as part of the display expertly watching the save like he expertly watched the game from his usual left side on-field spectator position,

annoying that people have to be piss-takey or snarky when it comes to Ward. Forget the statue jokes, forget some of his shortcomings in the past lets just call tonight what it was a fuching excellent performance from a city player that deserves respect.

also not that it will matter to some of you but he seemed like a top bloke in his interview giving credit to the coaches straight away.

Let’s us call it an acceptable performance for someone who plays for a premier league club, against those in league 2. He should not be ahead of Iversen, even if it’s to warm the bench. And for this reason of course he’s going to give our deluded manager credit.

he gave the goalkeeping coaches credit not the manager, maybe listen to the interview before you start moaning about it!

Excellent performance? He had 1 save to make, fair play he made it well, but other than that had nothing to do. Not sure what his interview has anything to do with it or that it makes him a good lad to praise his coaches.
Let’s forget all about his previous games, because the 50k a week gk saved penalties against a league 2 team.

Why would they? Don't see them signing someone on Wards wages just because he's a fan and was with them years ago.

Not to mention they have a keeper they just bought from Arsenal in Okonwo, who’s one of their core building blocks.

Was gonna say, he replaced Foster last season.

People just being lazy when they say Wrexham should go for Ward.
