PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS

I’ve ended up in more expensive seats with a better view - all in all a good result. One of the 40 or so, so far, that have moved

Surprised that G1 is more expensive than SK1 especially as C2 is cheaper than SK4.

It's a bit odd that C2 is £55 cheaper than G1 for essentially the same view.

Same reason the west stand is much more expensive than the east for exactly the same view.

That’s exactly the area I will be looking at moving into. Do you know what the availability was like in G1?

Pretty good we got a row of 4. Most of Kop has no availability

That’s great to hear. Tbh I don’t mind moving away from the Kop altogether and move more towards to right of SK1.

Tbf they could do with introducing some sort of singing sections in all three corners of the ground so that an atmosphere is created around the whole ground.

Or just have one whole stand singing together. Pockets of fans doesn’t which which is what we have now.

What is your reasoning for that?

A lot of our fans were bought up in an era when the kop at filbo was next to the away stand, as I’m sure most fans over 30 will remember. Made for some great banter.

Mind you the way footballs going the focus probably should be more focused on getting behind the lads than the back and forth. Personally found that side of it far less enjoyable since every club started using the same song to chant everything purely because it doesn’t actually require any wit as nothing has to rhyme.

Do we know how much of the North Stand is still the family area? Is it now just blocks P2 & P3 (orange) ? Looking at the stadium plan it shows block P & P1 in red. Are these now general admission?

Yes,. Family stand just P2 & P3. P & P1 have been general admission for all of the current season.

Not going to be seeing much as the front will be standing. I can forsee some teething issues for sure but it will work long term as the club are 100% bought in.

Be interesting to see what action the stewards take if they get complaints from those that shall not be moved.

And that is the problem. The club should of got directly in touch with everybody at the bottom of SK1, where the singing section sits and recommended they move if they don’t enjoy singing or standing.

If this would of happened then people who decide to stay where they are and sit down in the singing section will then have themselves to blame when they realise that everybody around them will be standing.

Surely everyone is aware that in a singing section everyone’s going to stand?
