So when Rodgers said a few youngsters could be involved towards the end of the season the emphasis was on the word could huh

 

Honestly this lineup won't tell us anything. We'll either play well in which case it'll show that they can sometimes emulate looking like actual players when it doesn't count for anything or we'll utterly embarrass ourselves by being worse than a team already relegated in 20th.

 

Would have been nice to see if any squad players or youth players might be capable of doing something for us going into next season rather than just playing a player that literally won't be here next season. Can't wrap my head around that choice at all.

Don't even care, tonight is an inconvenience, that's what it's come to. 

 

We could smash them 6-0 and i'll probably shrug my shoulders. Never been less bothered for a Leicester game in my life. Still going but it feels more like an obligation as a ST holder than anything more meaningful.

 

Reality will be a cagey 2-1 win that 'raises morale' but solves nothing.

This. Why would you drop your striker who scored last game and played relatively well. Let him build confidence ffs!

 

Then again, this is a manager who benches Kelechi Iheanacho after having one of the best goals per game ratios in Europe.

If you were going to incorporate any youngsters then today would have been a reasonable opportunity if and it's a BIG if we are ahead by a few in second half.

It`s got to the point where im sick of seeing Tielemans in the team.  The guy is going to be gone next season, and in truth probably wanted to be gone this season, he`s certainly played like it.   Tell me, what is the point in playing him, hes not putting it in and his head is else where.  He pulled out of a tackle on Sunday in the second half, thats how committed he is.   Daka should have started too, just scored after a barren spell, has an ok game, and is then benched, you couldn`t make it up.   Hopefully Barnes and Lookman work tonight because usually Lookman is no where near as effective on the right, and playing Barnes is the reason he`s been moved over to the right, and Barnes has been Gash for weeks now, and is very lucky to have a start in my opinion!

Oh and why don`t we have some youngsters on the bench??

Right we supposedly have three players in midfield capable of creating some chances.

 

Can one of them please pick out some of Castagne’s runs? Its tiring watching Timmy make an excellent burst into space, only for our player on the ball to ignore him, turn and pass it backwards.

Irritates me that Mendy has been dropped. Another bloke who has been treated badly. Keeps picking Tielemans who hardly has the motivation to run and leaves Mendy out. 

Agree with Daka too. What's the need to play Vardy. May as well rest him up for nest year and try and get some confidence into Daka.

Not getting at you at all but it's mad to me that people are able to make a decision on whether they'll go to the game when they see the team an hour before kick off

We've been horribly turgid in this system and personnel though but then again we've not played anyone quite as crap as Norwich so it's a real opportunity for us to embarrass ourselves further with his perceived best XI.
