Kudus on loan to everton. That is an unreal signing if they keep him fit. Brilliant player to watch in full flow.

Everton lasted about 3 months trying to cut their cloth accordingly and are now back making signing after signing. Not a chance they don't fail FFP both domestic and UEFA.

Brighton’s recruitment turnaround is very impressive. Sold Cucurella for effectively 3x what they bought him for last season and have bought in Estupinan for £15m.

Brighton have got an awful lot right recently

That's just stupid money  what's he done to warrant that price tag?

Ridiculous signing. Wouldn’t say he’s a bad player but that fee is way too high. Loftus-Cheek would surely be a better option at half the price?

As Morgan gibbs been playing regularly at Wolves. This looks at first glance to be one of the most over priced signings I’ve ever seen.

It's obviously a gamble (ALL transfers are to varying degrees), but he's apparently been their top target this window, so not surprising they are willing to "over pay". We may not like Forest, but it's not like they have much of a choice to do nothing (or try to be cheap). They don;t have the option of retaining their squad from last season because most of their starters were loanees, and frankly would not have been good enough to keep them in the Premier League anyway.

Forest may be taking a substantial financial gamble, but at least they are not standing still (or possibly sliding backwards), and it's probably a gamble well worth risking to stay in the PL and collect even more PL cash.

They need to be more concerned about EFL FFP than UEFA!!!

Completely agree, I know they have sold richarlison but they have bought in a few. Presume Gordon is off. Very odd they seem to be splurging on midfielders and wingers but not strikers as that seems to be an obvious weakness.

Don't know what man u's strategy is but signing a 30 year old, no matter how good he's supposed to be, for £50m is insane. The salary will be huge and he will have no resale value. No one else would buy him.

Plus will he adapt to the premiership. Huge gamble from a desperate club.

Superb player, a winner in the engine room. Exactly what they need IMO.

Casemiro to United for 70m.

Seems mental for a 30 year old, even if he is a top player.

ManU has basically unlimited money and they're haemorrhaging blood from every orifice.  For them the only priority is improving the product on the pitch as quickly as possible.  It's simple triage.

Problem is they keep making the same mistakes, big money signing for players at the wrong end of their careers, they seem determined to reform the Real Madrid side of 2017, only surprise is they didn't try and get Bale.

They also need to redevelop old Trafford and have owners sucking them dry, a few years in a row without CL could be very damaging

Bella-Kotchap looked really good yesterday. Can’t believe Southampton only had to pay €10 million.

And sick that we paid them 14m for a 30 year old Duffer who was admired by Brendan.....where was all the gems that his mate Congerton was meant to have knowledge of South America and Europe!

Fallen through

Maybe Gerrard decided to watch a few more of Sarrs games, before he took the plunge, rather than relying on just a few highlights reels he might have been given. Massively overrated, who still gets talked up because of one good game against Liverpool. I wouldn't want us to pay 10 million for him let alone 25 million.
