I agree he’s not there to do the Maddison outside of the boot cross field passes but watch the amount of times he can make the quick simple forward pass and he slows down the play to tap it to another player. 

 

In the last game Amartey made a great run from the back along the right wing with plenty of grass ahead, he stops and passes back to the defence even though he’s closer to their goal. 

 

This is coming from Rodger’s, stunk out our players.

Brendan’s style of play is what causes so many individual errors. 
 

Watch West Ham. Moyes has got them set up to be compact, strong and play as a unit. The chance for individual error is very slim.

I don’t subscribe to that, he is probably at fault for many things (set piece defending being one of them) but basic mistakes without pressure is all on the players.
