Soyuncu looked well pissed off behind bredan,

Maybe they're planning on seeing their contracts out and Brendans been told to get rid? We'll never know.

I think chaglars agent will have his work cut out finding a move.  I don't know what is best to do with kasper - maybe just let him get to the end of his contract next summer?

Will LCFC be first on MoTD 2 tonight?

Why would we? We're not playing for anything?

At this stage of the season they put it in order of importance in relation to the title/Europe/relegation.

Good win, clearly cannot moan but not convinced and my opinion on Rodgers hasn’t changed. You can only play what is in front of you and we’ve successfully dispatched two relegated teams but it feels like it has papered over the cracks.

It seems likely that we will finish 8th or 9th. On paper, it seems like a commendable finish when you consider injuries and our run in Europe but I think certain players have prevented it from being embarrassing. If it wasn’t for Vardy and Maddison, we could genuinely have been in a relegation battle. You’re deluded if you don’t believe that.

A good week after a pathetic display last Sunday but it doesn’t change the fact that the performances have been mainly poor this season. Individual brilliance has dug us out a lot and Rodgers has been incredibly lucky to have certain players at his disposal.

If 2 players on the pitch got us out the shit does it not stand to reason it was players on the pitch that got us there in the 1st place and not all because of someone off it?

Can 8th still get Europe?

Yes. We just need to find some dirt on Boehly and put the Chelsea takeover in doubt, getting them thrown out the league and promoting us to 7th place and into Europe. Easy.

Shame on the twonk who posted there's no way we're coming back from this, when Watford scored.

Shame on the posters who were having a go at Ward after 10 minutes, even though he had done nothing wrong and indeed, went in to make some great saves

Shame on those who posted lol and lol, when we were losing.

Shame on those having a go at Barnes.

Utter, embarrassing 'supporters'.

That's the match thread for you, pal. If it's not someone blaming Amartey for their goal when he wasn't even on the pitch, it's someone calling Brendan the ENGLISH Puel.

Clueless.

Pride of the Midlands still up for grabs. Win the remaining two games and we finish 8th above Wolves. Get it done.

We're already the pride of the midlands whether wolves finish above us or not. When was the last time they, or any other midlands club won a major trophy? When one of them wins the league title and FA cup, we can talk.

We played well going forward, at the back we’ve gave far too many opportunities to Pedro who proved too much of a handful for our defence considering he’s not always a regular starter. We played some nice stuff going forward I thought. Barnes just about MOTM over Vardy for me.

Before we won the league, we hadn't finished as the top Midlands team in the league for 55 years... we are enjoying good times!

Forget comparing the past or we'll end up like Villa and Forest talking about the 80s.

I'm just referring to the highest placed Midlands team in the football pyramid in this context.

....then, why play Youri!!!

You would surmise that they are both leaving, as contracts have not been signed. So playing Youri and dropping Soyuncu smacks of favoritism, and you notice these things as players.

Tielemans still a liability in the middle of the pitch, we have escaped and saved his bacon on numerous occasions.

Hell of a ball by Albrighton for Barnes first

Can only hear what’s in front of you, but after that set piece malarkey again, we did just that. Some great attacking play, quality goals. Decent away end end of season made it an enjoyable Sunday afternoon! I think the corner issue is psychological now, seems no matter what we’ve done and who the personnel are, it’s an issue. Reset in the summer and train like mad on it through pre season!!

Took our chances superbly today for the first time in a long time which is really nice to see. Barnes in particular a really big step up in end product with two excellent finishes that were genuinely superb regardless of the opposition.

So take nothing away from us today at all.

But christ they were shit at the back lol
