Seen as Jon Moss’ last ever refereeing game is ironically ours on Sunday, can we all please make it a memorable one for him?

 

He has consistently gone out of his way to give decisions against us over the years, from Forest away under Sven to West Ham in the title winning season. 
 

Forget about the game, this bloke deserves every chant he will receive on Sunday so let’s all club together for one last time and ruin his swansong.

The referee's in the Premier League are abysmal. 

 

I still find it extremely hard to believe that none of the top tier referee's support any of the big 6.

 

Clearly admitting that you support one of them would limit your career progression so they just disclose their second team like Hartlepool or something daft.

 

Referee born in Manchester doesn't support either of the big Manchester teams....yeah, right.

Jon Moss is that bad a referee he has wronged nearly every club he has officiated in his career. 

I completely agree. I don't hate jon moss. I don't think he's actively trying to to punish us, or favor one side over another. I just think refereeing at the top level is an insanely challenging job, and he's not particularly good enough to do it. I almost feel bad for him... almost lol

Disagree with this, he had been consistently awful for us every time he referees us there seems to be against us. I've never seen him ref us favourably or even in an unbiased manner.

The three retiring will make way for the next three referees who fans will castigate, accuse of having an agenda against their club and generally abuse. As I've said before, it's absolutely amazing that referees have an agenda against every single club, but also conveniently are pro-the club you don't like, or your closest rival.

 

You get the standard of refereeing you deserve, and the way we treat ours means the low standard people perceive is exactly the outcome. Referees in England have been "shit" for decades and guess what, they'll be "shit" for decades to come because we're blinkered idiots who can't put aside our biases.

 

Do referees make mistakes? Yes? Is it because they're human and football decisions are, by and large, subjective? Yes? Are there flaws in the refereeing system? Yes.

 

Referee abuse also enables and emboldens people to act the same in the lower league and Sunday league game, draining away people who want to do it, which conversely drains away people who might want to take it up as a profession. Limit the numbers and you limit the talent pool.

I can’t give you any examples other the the Jeff penalty in the West Ham game but he also has given us some questionable stuff too. At least in my head he has

Seriously, has he been that bad to us lately? 

 

The horror show in the Forest game seems like a lifetime ago and he even ended up giving an extremely soft pen to Schlupperman in the West Ham game. I feel like Pawson is the one consistenly having a mare when reffing us.
