Good win to finish off a poor season and some good goals to.

Good finish. I find the calls on Rodgers to get the sack bizzare. If the back line hadn't had so many injuries Leicester would have been higher. The thing for Rodgers is his signings haven't really worked out this season. He can't afford that next season.  He really has to address losing so many goals to set peices.

Best not to dwell on it now otherwise you’ll start getting annoyed. An underwhelming season is over and hopefully we can start looking forward to next season now.

Actually Im very happy with 8th, a euro semi final, and a shiny round thing in the trophy cabinet.

13 goals in our last 4 games when the horse had bolted. It's what we all asked for to give us some pride and hopefully momentum going in to next season.

 

Sort the set piece issue out, add some players that have the desire to win the ball and not represent Brendan and his coaches non confrontational persona and we know we are capable of challenging again. Got no choice but to get behind this regime, I hope Rodgers can get off to a good start next season so that it's difficult for the growing number of fans who have either turned on him or not far off.

 

What a season Maddison has had by the way, hes knuckled down and reaped the rewards. A few more could learn from that.

Can some statistically minded person work out where we'd have finished if we'd conceded the premier league average for goals from corners? I know it depends on which games you choose to deduct the goals from, but just a rough idea.

I guess if you can get to 52 points yet only have half a dozen decent performances over the season then you have to hold your hands up and say Rodgers is doing something right.
