Vesty sounds like 5th/6th choice. but their fans actually didn’t sound that disappointed with him. Their logic being, he kept anderson out of the national side and anderson was great for them. Hopefully their clubs hierarchy share that view. Don’t want to ruin it for everyone but they do have 2 other irons in the fire and felt that vesty is the option if they can’t get those done. We therefore have to move players on to create spaces for the new players to come in. Financially, wages and transfer fees are treated the same. Both are spread over the length of the contract.
