It appears that Brendan Rogers prepare to lose Cags and happy to roll his dice on senior citizen Evans and technically limited Amartey on defense.

No it appears Brendan is planning to sign a new first team defender.

It is certain that after Brendan Rogers placed him on his IT IS ALL HIS FAULT black list, Cags switched his agent to prepare to leave Foxes.

This is an unfortunate development because he could be serving LCFC for long years to come.

Not too phased by Cags leaving. More disappointed we’ll need to change the lyrics to Maguire’s chant.

I'd still be happier to hear he's signed a new contract, but that's clearly not happening. I just hope we take his next club to the cleaners. We almost always let players go cheap, and I can see the same happening with Kele, Perez and Co too.

This comment truly sends shivers down the spine after last summers "defensive recruitments" 😳

He’s been shit for 18 months. No issue him leaving. All the best

He was never the same after that Bournemouth 4 - 1 defeat a couple of seasons ago.

Really liked the guy and a superb player on his day but far too erratic and not the partner for WF.

He's 26, so it's not like we can wait for him to develop,  he should be peaking now.

He lacks composure, he's clumsy and generally has looked completely out of his depth for a long time now.

I think we were all drew to him with his long hair, and the odd time he'd turn a defender inside out with one of his swivels - But - truth be told, he's not good enough for us.

I hope we get a good fee for him.

Have enjoyed watching him at times, but other times his head losses have cost us big time.

Atletico or Real are welcome to him...

I'm all for him leaving for a good fee, however, I have zero confidence we replace him with anyone remotely decent.

Maybe BR will utilise his last personal signing Vesty.....

Someone is still bitter about Under been shown the door.

I think he is. I know a chap who used to come into contact with an acquaintance of Cags through work, he said he’s been wanting to leave since last season, which would make sense.

A bit harsh. Yes, we've let some players go cheap, but we've also cashed in on players like Maguire, Drinkwater, and Chilwell. Always a gamble when you sign players.

Have you considered Rodgers might actually sign someone to replace him?

Very apathetic about him leaving. His form absolutely fell off a cliff, if either of the Madrid clubs genuinely want him, I’d snap their hands off. Wouldn’t sell him to Chelsea though.
