They need to pick a home player for the game …… there isn’t anyone else!

Too true. His selection I imagine will put up to single figures onto the attendance.

If my memory serves didn't Demi Gray get a full England call up for a game at the KP once.

Demi Gray.

I'd think either this year or next year will be his last. He's been hit by knock after knock after knock, probably time to call it.

I can't see how he carries on past the summer. He plays 5 minutes and is injured again. He's 35, it's only going to get harder to recover from injuries, and if they are constant even harder still.

March International Schedule Confirmed For Foxes Players
INTERNATIONALS
Published 1 hr

There will be Leicester City involvement across the globe over the latest international fixture window this week.

- Thirteen first team players could star for their international sides
- EURO 2024 qualifying begins across Europe in March
- Further Leicester City involvement expected in AFCON qualifying
- Up to four Development Squad players may also feature

Qualifying for UEFA EURO 2024 dominates the agenda on the continent, with James Maddison in contention to earn his second cap for England on Thursday evening. The Three Lions face Italy in Naples (7:45pm) in their Group C opener.

Ukraine are up next for Gareth Southgate’s men at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (5pm), with the five-team pool also containing Malta and North Macedonia.

Belgium’s qualifying stage starts away to Sweden on Friday, with Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes and Dennis Praet all selected ahead of the 7:45pm kick-off at Friends Arena. Youri Tielemans misses out through injury, however. Austria, Azerbaijan and Estonia complete Group F.

The trio of Foxes could be in action once more the following Tuesday when the Red Devils face EURO 2024 hosts Germany in a friendly at Rhein Energie Stadion (7:45pm).

Elsewhere, shot-stopper Danny Ward is a contender to play for Wales in their opening two group matches, away to Croatia on Saturday and at home to Latvia the following Tuesday as the Dragons return to Cardiff City Stadium (both 7:45pm).

Remaining in Group D, Çağlar Söyüncü, is also in line for a double-header of qualification outings as Turkey tackle Armenia and then Croatia. After travelling to Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on Saturday for a 5pm kick-off, Bursa Timsah Arena hosts next Tuesday’s 7:45pm kick-off. The 26-year-old reached half 50 international appearances last year.

In Africa, defender Daniel Amartey has been selected for Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification fixtures against Angola and could also reach a half century of appearances for his country this week.

The first fixture, on Thursday, will be held at Baba Yara Sports Stadium (4pm) before the Black Stars head over to Estádio 11 de Novembro next Monday in a 5pm kick-off. Ghana are currently top of Group E after two matches, on four points.

Also in qualifying, Zambia forward Patson Daka, who has 32 international caps to his name, is in the squad for their two encounters with Lesotho.

Second in Group H, Zambia have one win and one defeat from their opening fixtures prior to a 4pm kick-off at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Thursday. On the road three days later, Dobsonville Stadium will host the second meeting between the sides (2pm).

Papy Mendy’s Senegal face Mozambique on Friday (7pm) as their qualification campaign continues at Diamniadio Olympic Stadium. The return fixture takes place on Tuesday 28 March – a 5pm kick-off at Estádio do Zimpeto. The Lions of Teranga are top of Group L after two fixtures.

Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were named in the Nigeria squad to face Guinea-Bissau in their third match of qualifying at Abuja National Stadium on Friday. The pair may play again next Monday, away to Guinea-Bissau (both 4pm).

January recruit Harry Souttar is set to be involved in Australia's internationals as they take on Ecuador in back-to-back friendlies on home soil. CommBank Stadium is the venue for Friday’s 9am kick-off in Sydney, before Marvel Stadium in Melbourne hosts Tuesday’s clash (9:30am).

Foxes full-back Luke Thomas could play for England Under-21s at King Power Stadium when the Young Lions entertain France on Filbert Way this Saturday evening (5pm), with tickets remaining available HERE.

Lee Carsley’s side then play host to Croatia at Craven Cottage on Tuesday 28 March (7:45pm) in another international friendly. The defender currently has 10 Under-21s caps to his name.

There are three fixtures for England Under-19s, with centre-back Ben Nelson, currently on loan at Doncaster Rovers, included in the squad to play Hungary on Wednesday (7:30pm), Iceland on Saturday (2pm) and Turkey next Tuesday (7:30pm). Forming part of UEFA EURO U19 qualification, the Group G games will be held in Walsall, Rotherham and Chesterfield respectively.

Harry Souttar enjoyed an impressive World Cup campaign for the Socceroos.

Under-21s defender Bayli Spencer-Adams has received a call-up for Guyana and could face team-mate Deniche Hill when coming up against Bermuda at 6pm on Saturday. Early on Wednesday morning, meanwhile, Guyana take on Montserrat in a 12am kick-off, and Bermuda travel to tackle Haiti an hour earlier.

The final two matchdays in the CONCACAF Nations League will crown the Group B winner, with both sides in with a chance of topping the pool. Guyana sit second, four points behind the leaders, while Bermuda are currently third, two points further back.

City’s Development Squad midfielder Zach Booth has been selected to represent USA Under-19s against Argentina on Friday (1:30pm), before Racing Club de Avellaneda are their next friendly opponents three days later (1pm).

Check back to LCFC.com through the week for news on how all of the Club's players fare while away with their nations.

All times GMT.

Southgate claims there is only four left-footed left backs in the PL - of which he is one of them.

Shaw, Chilwell, Mitchell, Henry are the 4 that I'm guessing he was referring to.

Then there is also Thomas, Cresswell, Burn, Targett, Toffolo, Sessegnon (probably one or two more that I'm missing) - so basically he was talking bollocks lol

Are they all naturally left footed though, or just playing left back? Might be the point he was making. I'm sure Chilwell, Shaw, Targett Creswell and Thomas are left footed but not sure on the rest.

Yeah, all of them are.

The only English players who are right-footed and have played left-back this season that I can think of are James Justin and Kyle Walker-Peters. Rico Lewis has also played there but not as a traditional full-back like the other two in Pep's 3-2-4-1 set-up.

@Facecloth: Replying here because I've ran out of posts. I know Denis Irwin did, but I'm not lying to you about those players being left-footed haha. On Rico Henry, literally everywhere online has him listed as being left-footed and he has always played on the left-side. I've also watched him many times and it's quite obvious he's a left-footed player.

Denis Irwin played his whole career as a right footed left back. Just because Henry has always played there doesn't mean he's naturally left footed.

It doesn't no, but he is definitely left footed regardless

It was him trying to over exaggerate the lack of quality in the PL for him to pick from.

But then again the fella’s idea of the 4th keeper in line to England no.1 is Fraser ****ing Forster
