Nations League 2022

Some good performances but Mount, Maguire and Sterling need to get in the bin. They're holding the team back.

Not his biggest fan but thought Kyle Walker had a cracking game. He was the defence half the time, sweeping up behind Lurch.

It's obviously a foul but it looked well offside. It looked so blatant that I can't believe I'm not missing something.

Defender plays at the ball - so it’s a repeat of the Benzema goal in the CL final except the officials have accepted it

Walker was exceptional tonight and it was a bloody good job he was cos our defence was shaky apart from him.

Yeah, I don't see a huge difference in those incidents.

So in other words they're all completely guessing, as expected.

Genuinely surprised how many people can't see why Kane isn't offside lol

Seems not but as we never really get told what is going originally  on can understand the confusion at first .

Thing is someone like  Grealish will start but not have a good game potentially so then be deemed not good enough but he definitely made an impact today .

Not hard though compared to what had gone on before !

Southgate proving the haters wrong again.

He picked more of his 'favourites' tonight, and they got him a very deserved and positive result.

People can hate on Maguire/Sterling etc all they want, they're the best we have in those positions.

Bellingham is massively overrated too, Rice and Phillips are comfortably better.

Arguably the weakest England squad in my lifetime, yet also the most successful....Some people are very bitter towards Southgate for some odd reason.

You been drinking mate? Bellingham overrated?

Managed to enjoy the last 20 mins, Grealish being someone who occupies opponents, advances attacks, gets us up the pitch, over Mount who jogs around pointing and shaking his head like a boy against men. Oh the thought of him coming on for 30 minutes or, steady your adrenaline levels Gareth….the whole 2nd half, you know, like what teams do against us, pick their dangerous players.

I swear Mount is Southgate's love child, for me Mount is heading in same direction as Jack Wilshere overrated. Southgate dislike of Grealish is becoming more obvious now. Abraham what an year he's had, is yet to play a minute.

Bellingham is doing amazing in Dortmund and certainly does need game time however I'm not sure he's ready for starting XI place certainly not ahead of the likes of Phillips, Ward-Prowse (under used), Foden.

To be a little fair to England there were chances not finished off likn the ones that fell to Suga Kane (yeh if he was playing against us for his beloved spuds you can bet the house he will score all of them somehow). German keeper did his job and made some good saves but our players have to do better. Germans over ran England for large parts of the game. That kid Musalia was a real pest and to think he's spent the majority of his young life growing up in England to then goes and plays for Germany - thanks for nothing kid! Southgate needs to sort his head out. We've been crying out for creative midfielders for years - remember the root and branch investigation to unearth the English Pirlo?? FFS we need to have players like Grealish and Madders pulling the strings, creating magic and causing chaos. Without that we look too predictable and play some boring root 1 football. In short; England can do much better.
