OH Leuven Thread 2022/23

Was doing 125mph apparently, on a road where the limit's less than half of that. He's lucky he didn't kill any kids as there were ongoing trainings in that gymnasium.

Right, so the speed is unclear (but the above seems like a big stretch going by the video footage). That said, there's a possibility that he was driving around the speed limit (55mph) but lost consciousness. I still think he just effed up, but he's following the ramadan and as he hadn't eaten, I wouldn't rule it out yet either. Would explain the lack of braking too.

Pretty much impossible to get a top eight finish now, another season done in April. Also think this is the end of Brys this season, no progress and always the same problems returning, specifically a complete drop of form from February onwards. Been like this for three years now, time for someone else.

Have Top/King Power ever opened up on what their ambitions are for the club? Are they happy just to be in the top flight or are they trying to build a team capable of challenging right at the top?

I think they ambitions were at first to be a stable first division team (which is where we are now at), and then going forward start tickling the top four once in a while.

4-1 win over rivals KV Mechelen, great team performance with an outstanding Opoku, among others. Please leave him with us next year, this boy could become something really special.

Can ye loan us a few players for next season?

I’ve seen literally nothing of him. What kind of player is he? Anyone he reminds you of?

I think he has to stay at least 1 more full season with you to then be eligible for a work permit for us

Great to see he played so well

Is Gonzalez out for long? Chance Opoku gets the last 2 games?

Is this club as badly run by Leicester and are we going to ransack them when we go down, or will they ransack us?

I don't think the club is run bad at all. We are using our youngsters, they perform quite well which means that this only can be profitable in the future. Our facilities are there with the top of the belgian clubs. We destroyed a lot of chances this season though, but the coach can't shoot them in himself. We could have had a lot more points if that part of our game was more efficient. I hope we can improve our squad even more for next season and maybe try a new coach with fresh ideas. 'Cause Brys has the charisma of a tennis shoe. You could easily mistake him with a cornerflag.

Who’s that?

Looks like we have finally got around to signing Mueanta?

“Buriram United are happy to release all their eligible players for the upcoming SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia except for Suphanat,” the unnamed SEA Games 2023 staff member shared. “This is because Suphanat has been offered a contract from Leicester City and must quickly go to Europe after the Thai League 1 season concludes.”

Suphanat will be sent to OH Leuven, a side in the Belgium Pro League owned by Thailand’s King Power International Group (the same ownership group as Leicester City), to begin his work permit applications.

Is he any good?

I hope he's better than the Thai goalkeeper (Kawin) we had a couple of years ago...
