“The legacy of this tournament is the change in society”  Great words from Leah Williamson, Attitudes will have changed after this, get down the KP this season and back our girls.

My daughter just said to me she can imagine her daughter being a footballer. Just taken her first steps at 11 months so bit early but that's inspiration for you. We'll done ladies

Ha ha that’s great. My daughter started playing/training about 4 though I always gave her a ball to kick around. She’s 11 now and the best footballer in the house that includes me and my two boys lol

Easy for us to say. She probably has loads of built up anger and emotion.

Yeah, fair enough. England have just won the Euros! Save it for another time and revel in the glory

Gotta love the racist older generation lol

I'm joking, before I get banned.

Different times though.

Basically he just trolls us with something outrageous most times we visit.

This is a bloke who, 40 years ago, lived,  worked and socialised perfectly happily alongside loads of Afro-Caribbean folk without any of this crap, apparently.  He then moved to the suburbs, started to have The Daily Mail delivered and now here we are.

Anyway, I loved watching the Lionesses win the final and I was more into it by the end than I think I've been with the men's team since Italia 90

When I met my wife in 2009 he was driving an Austin Maestro. A Maestro!

It must have been the last one running in the country. Astonishing scenes

I feel for those who are going to be forced more women’s football as a result of this lol

I feel for those who continue to endure the PL and the men's Internationals despite all the evidence that they're both a screaming pile of tedious anti-football cack.

Just bought tickets for the England v Luxembourg game next month in Stoke. Even though were only playing Luxembourg the attendance for that will be interesting now.

I mean even after this wonderful victory a game against Luxembourg in Stoke is a tough sell!

If England win they qualify for the world cup in OZ and with everyone being on a high the demand for tickets may increase. But I'm sad say I think the further months go on, the crowds and excitement may die down and England crowds may head back to crowds of just under 10,000 which is a shame. Hope I'm wrong, I just feel the hype as been their mainly cause it's been in our country.

I wish politicians with no concept of football would just STFU and leave us plebs to rejoice in "the working class game".

While this statement is fair comment in most cases, Starmer actually knows his football. Well, as much as any Arsenal fan can ever claim to.

He's no David 'West Hotspurts Albion' Cameron.

Can't wait for him to be asked to explain the offside rule during PMQ's

Found it ironic how pre match how they said England ladies team were getting advice from the men... erm why? since when did the men win anything. Would be interesting if the Fa could allow Sarina Wiegman to travel to Qatar in November to help out, if in advisor capacity to support Southgate.
