22/23 Injuries Thread

Recommended Posts

Given the regularity of injuries it probably makes sense to have a place to keep up to date on latest injury news.

Might as well get the ball rolling...

Pereira not looking good according to BR. Barnes?

All whilst being BR fault, I suppose

Id only blame him for Wes :D

Playing a player with a muscle injury will always be short termist and ultimately stupid in my eyes.

Missed the game so no idea if the other two were impact injuries or muscular. If they're muscular/soft tissue then thats very concerning as its clear evidence of no improvement in the conditioning of our players.

Barnes was a jar/twist after kicking/tackling

Achilles is a shit injury, even small tear could see him out till after Christmas. Unbelievable two years running serious injuries in final friendly game.

It’s the same recovery as a full rupture. So it will require either surgery or 3 months in a boot. I imagine surgery will be required, and then about 6 months recovery.
