22/23 Injuries Thread

Recommended Posts

Great to hear, particularly about Kelechi. He could be the difference vs West Ham.

Would love to see Pereira hit the ground running but I guess he will be more ready for the Liverpool game as opposed to Monday.

Injuries?

“Nobody’s come out of the squad. Ricky is back in full training as well now. We are as we were.”

Iheanacho still back for Newcastle?

“Yes, he is. Hopefully he’s due to train earlier next week. We thought he’d only have two days before Newcastle, but he’s ahead of schedule.”

nacho to save the day again.

3 5 2. with nacho and vardy. Compact, an extra defender to help ease the blunders of the others. souttar defending and attacking corners.

Return to the formation that saved us from relegation before

Surely an upgrade on VK or Thomas?

castagne in my opinion is better on the left, particularly in a back 5.

that’s where he’s spent most of his time for belgium. It’s the logical move especially if evans is fit enough for the bench just so we don’t have to abort the game plan if someone gets a knock mid game

Soyuncu?

“He’s back jogging but slowly. The plan is to get him back for the last game.”

Dewsbury-Hall?

“He’s had the injection. He’s stiff at the moment. He’ll be back in training on Saturday.”

Iheanacho?

“Kelechi trained today and will be in full training on Saturday as well. No other issues."

KDH and Iheanacho play on Monday?

“If they get through training on Saturday. Ki is the biggest worry. Kel has done bits today. Ki hasn’t trained yet. Kel has ticked all the boxes. We’ve put him on fast forward, but needs must.”

We’ve broken Ricky again ………

He cannot be relied upon.

How long has he got left on his contract?

Loved him before his initial injury but seriously would snap someone’s arm off if they tried taking a punt on him, even if only on a loan with all his wages covered.

How long ?

we gave him a ew one a year ago!

on lower wages than he was on (despite what you read on ere and sm) but we probably brought him back too quickly for a very intense game
