Id imagine most were included in, 'all the players' :dunno:

Maybe im in the minority, but I wouldnt be surprised if their are players in the team as sick of brendan as some of us

There are at least two of us in the minority. I watched Kasper's body language and interviews closely last season, especially concerning the European games, as it's his type of character that will allow an insight into the dressing room and I don't think they are at all happy with the style of play amongst other things.

Really sad day and I can't help be a bit confused and angry about the club allowing things to pan out this way with no goodbye or send-off or anything.

Frustrated the hell out of me sometimes but undoubtedly our greatest ever keeper and by a mile too. As others have said we will miss him as person as much if not more than as a player. I can only imagine we've massively taken for granted the comfort of having a solid number 1 for such a long time as well.

Best of luck to you Kasper and thank you for everything.

A real shame he's left in such an underwhelming way.

The stuff this guy has done on and off the pitch surpasses any goalkeeper we've had by a country mile.

Legend, simple as that.

Ability wise 3rd behind Banks & Shilton.

Sad to see the Viking Legend leave us. He has been immense and the journey for us all has been unimaginable.

However I think this is Brendan strikes again. Kasper has a big voice and big personality in the squad and changing room. Brendan didn’t like that. His petty decision to drop Kasper for the consecutive appearance record wasn’t showing strength. It was the exact opposite.

Anyway. Would have loved to give Kasper a proper send off. Maybe one day we will. Wish him and his family all the best. We will never have another such successful keeper in my lifetime I’m sure.

Seen some top keepers over the years.  Poole, Keller, Flowers, I'd even throw in Walker, but Schmeichel has been on another level entirely.  Absolute legend.

We've got Kevin Kevin Poole in our goal in our goal.

Feel quite emotionless about it, much how I feel about the club at the moment.

Goes with best wishes and all the best, fair play to him getting out.

Atleast the accusations of 'player power' amongst the PL winning squad are getting less and less to blame.

If you don't feel anything at all about Schmeichel leaving, I'm surprised you're even still here posting.

It's a sad day for sure. I remember wishing we would sign him before he was picked up by Leeds.

There was a part of me that wanted someone to wash away the memory of Jacob Laursen and Casino Jimmy 😅

I don't think anyone, even Kasper himself, could have ever imagined how successful his spell with us would turn out.

But I have to admit that even I with my bias did not expect to get so attached to this man. His cocky arrogance grated in the beginning. His temper brought comparisons to his father. His erratic performances at times.

Yet he's only gone on to prove his integrity and passion - and what I connect with most - his desire to make the club his home.

Kasper leaving feels to me like a big part of my connection to the club being ruptured. I can't help but feel he was an incredibly important person for the club ethos. His mentality on the pitch and well-publicised actions off it - truly elevated the club to a higher level.

I get to follow him closely a bit longer with the national team, where he's equally legendary, but I will dearly miss him wearing that Leicester badge - his adopted family and home club 💙

Gutted Kasper has left the club, he's an absolute legend of the football club, an iconic player and one of the symbols of the greatest era of the football club, he deserves the opportunity for a new challenge though and good luck to him in Nice, at his age a 3 year contract is too good to refuse.
