It’s common for clubs to pay a % of the wages for players they sell. If it really was that much of a struggle we could have paid 20k towards it and still saved ourselves millions.

Exactly. He just doesn’t influence games as much as he should. Clearly technically a good footballer, neat and tidy, but he’s always on the periphery

Players shouldn’t be judge so quickly on whether they’re  good enough when they only get a few Sub appearances and the odd game.

You’re right but people have been crying out on here for him to play , his so called being badly treated oh and Brendan ruining his World Cup chances . I’m just pointing out perhaps todays showing is the reason to all those .

You’re missing the point big time though aren’t you. We won’t wait and see and we won’t get the chance to see. When he’s played well for us Brendan has dropped him instantly. He will get the odd cameo without time to impress and then written off.

Not really, he’s not getting played because  Brendan hates him . He’s not getting played as perhaps Brendan doesn’t think he brings enough to the team . Possibly the same reason the clubs he’s been on loan at didn’t end up wanting  to sign him . There’s been outrage by some on here that he’s been dropped or not played I’m just suggesting perhaps that’s why . It’s up to him to force his way into the team like Dewsbury-Hall has

Always liked the bloke. Feel for him as it’s not quite worked out for him here. He would be a decent player to have as replacement for Tielemens when he leaves, shame his contract is ending. Very much doubt he’ll stick around, and don’t blame him.
