That was more of a pen than the Chillwell one last week where his legs collapse whilst he got a bit of contact on his back.

 

Vards has clearly been contacted by Ramsdale mid fvcking air causing him to spiral, it did looked soft but Ramsdale has got away with it big time there. No chance is that overturned the other way around.

 

VAR continues to go against us.

I have not ever been in the Rodgers out camp. But in light of the same tactical errors he continues to make in his team set up and his insistence on leaving Nacho on the bench and playing Ndidi to create our midfield handicap, it is very disappointing. When we had Mendy on, we were so much better - we just needed to sort our defending on set pieces. Now we are going back to the same set up where we cannot get out of our own half.

They are a massive club that can continually buy expensive players and pay twice what we can. What exactly is there to think on?

 

Anyone actually kidding themselves that we were above them in the long term had a problem. They were deluded.

It's a difficult one because I don't think we have played that bad.

Jesus has scored a brilliant 1st goal and bad defensive effort to concede the 2nd, I think soyunchu would of got rid of.

 

People won't like it but we can't and won't be able to compete unless the owners pump money into the club.

Everton are worse in FFp than us and spending big cash. Villa the same.

 

Owners need to dig deep but tbh I think they wouldn't mind us going down for the parachute payments

They are but unfortunately the same pattern as umpteen times against the big six. Corner again with a routine they used against us in the last two fixtures. 
 

Msot football fans just want to see a bit of effort and guile, if we lose 3 or three but there’s plenty of hard work, then fair enough.

Yep.

 

I know our defence gets pilloried, but our midfield seems hell bent on making sure they get the chance to make as many mistakes as possible.

 

It's exactly like the start of last season, when Maddison and Youri were both having a mare and KDH wasn't starting.

Always going to be a tough fixture and after the first half we seem be making it tougher, could be another one of Rodgers out games ticked off the list of 10 if he doesn’t somehow turn this around with some miraculous substitutions, starting with Tielemans who just doesn’t want to be in a City shirt…

They're running circles around us infront of our box, heads are starting to drop abit. No idea what Evans was doing backing off Gabby Jesus, maybe the heat is getting through his hair abit too much :whistle:

 

Could end up getting tonked second half. 4+ nil. Just try and enjoy the day lads, lots of our fans down there, gorgeous day.
