West Ham have spent over 300m over the last three season (net spend), and are struggling to break into the top 6. We are a similar size and history, have always had a rough parity with them in terms of league position and size. That they are investing that much to be at that level shows what is needed. We can only go backwards this season if we don’t keep improving and refreshing the squad. LCFC sent an email out this week saying ‘end of an era’ - something to do with some new clothing they were trying to flog. The midfield is too weak atm and players like Nididi and Youri need dropping, and the 3 atb system needs binning we don't have the players for it.
