Castagne, Evans, Soyuncu, Justin

             Perez, Vardy, Barnes

Thus should be good enough to beat most teams, to be honest!

I think it would work although having thought about it more you could bring Nididi in and move Madssion for Nacho and have Maddison as a 10 so 4-4-1-1 still would be a lot more effective

Castange Evans Soy Justin

Albrighton KDH Nididi Barnes

                   Maddison

                      Vardy

....if we went back to the old formation of 4-4-1-1, we should be looking for Nacho to play the Okazaki role!!!

Dropping Maddison in the middle with KDH would to a degree replicate the Kante Drinkwater combination, although I do not believe Barnes would be ready for this game. We do not build up wingers in our setup and Madivadua, Callum Wright or Maswanhise are the closest we have to play out wide, you have to ask, what sort of teams we are hoping to create when we choose not to develop "Wingers".

5 - as in Bertrand? Surely that’s stating the obvious 😂

Or was this supposed to suggest No Evans?

Back 4, Amartey and Evans from what I’ve been shared.

Rob Tanner says Wes has asked not to be included in the squad….not surprising and perhaps for the best.

Deal with Chelsea next week? Hopefully we don’t back down and rinse them for as much cash / cash plus a proper player as poss.

....probably something like £93m, that is if we can't force the price up to £100m..!!!

There will still be profit in it for Chelsea if they develop him right.

Do we go pure cash or push for Chabolah & perhaps 1 more? Interesting call.

...due to how late it is into the window, it would make a lot of sense to sort our more pressing roles to be filled, with loans from Chelsea (two birds with one stone)!!!

The fact that Rodgers has stated that he has spent a lot of his time making calls to get players to come here, probably means there are already deals in the pipeline just ready to be triggered. Now if these deals have already been sanctioned by all concerned, it would seem churlish to move away from them, due to perceived expediency.

I know it's nice for Wilf showing off his skills here, but it's more than a little embarasing putting a video out showing our current back up CB getting skinned, conceding what would be a penalty in a real game and then getting skinned again by our.... Defensive midfielder

Of course it is. Again, football is about repetitions. Some of these training vids in the last 24 hours are ****ing worrying
