It has to be said that Srivaddhanaprahba has not come out and said Fofana is not for sale. If he had it would have killed it. What Rodgers says is of no real consequence. Are the club just intending to grab the money even though Rodgers must have highlighted our CB problems.

So Fofanna has asked to be left out or BR has decided to leave him out. Either way it’s due to Fofanna’s inability to be a professional and an adult. Frankly, it’s embarrassing that a professional footballer can’t just turn up and play a game of football to their absolute best. I am of the opinion that it’s too late in the window to sell him so even if Chelsea offer £85m tomorrow we should turn it down. We’re not going to be able to reinvest that money sensibly. We’ll end up getting mugged off trying to sign a couple of centre halves and a winger which is what we need. Fofanna can sulk for a few weeks and then we can slowly add him back to the squad if he wants to audition himself for Chelsea for next summer. But we better not be singing his name in the crowd. Don’t show him any love. Just let him see out the season then he can **** off to his beloved Chelsea for £90m in July next year when we have time to replace him properly. 
 

Sick and tired of signing superstars that don’t want to play for us. This is why small clubs will never make it big for prolonged periods without having huge takeovers.

FWIW I'd sell him if we can get north of £75m for him now. Some players you know if you kept them, they would have the professionalism to not sulk and to get on with it, I don't think we'll get that from Wes if I'm honest. His head has gone already. It's ****ing appalling but Chelsea have successfully tapped him up haven't they?

 

Maybe I'm wrong but I think if / when he does join Chelsea he'll do the same when Real Madrid come calling in a couple of years. He does seem ruthlessly ambitious.
