Post Southampton 1-2

Recommended Posts

No organisation, no leadership, no plan, no fight (barring KDH and Maddison). The mentality of this team is appalling, majority of them are a bunch of pussies without an aggressive bone in them. Aribo diving to try and con a penalty then Danny Ward patting him on the back 5 seconds later shows everything you need to know about the personality of our team. All stems from the man in charge, he has to go or we’re seriously going to be involved in a relegation scrap

You really see a difference when a team wants to play for a manager.  Ralph never has much talent but somehow his sides always show grit and resiliency.  Did the same thing against Leeds (a much better side than us right now) last week, which does make you wonder why they sit back and do nothing until they concede.

As for us, we’re utterly broken and that’s been obvious for a long time for anyone not sucked in by Brendan’s twaddle.  If we don’t make a change we’re headed for a relegation scrap.

6 shots on goal. 1 shot on target. Against Southampton at home.

Up until the first goal, we played ok especially Justin, Barnes and to some extent Perez. Justin had to carry Ndidi in CM, but Barnes stepped up to fill in the void Justin left behind when he went inside to help Ndidi (handicap nowadays). Still a big question mark over Rodgers’ stubbornness in playing Ndidi who has a “good” game if he doesn’t do anything reckless these days.

Then we scored and all of a sudden we forgot to play and just invited pressure by standing back. INCREDIBLE. Just when we needed to pile on the pressure but we went into our shell again.

Then Rodgers continued to keep Ndidi on the pitch when he gave two goals away and was a liability in CM when we needed to keep the ball with good passing and good movements, which Ndidi cannot do. He should have gone for Nachos instead of Daka and he should have kept Perez on the pitch and got Ndidi off. Poor subs.

Poor tactics. Poor set up.

Why do we set ourselves up so badly, every game? This is the last 2 years.

I said at the end of the last game and beginning of this game that if Rodgers plays Ndidi, I am OUT as the result is not only predictable but it shows Rodgers has not learnt and that means we are in for a bad season.

Rodgers OUT.

He’s just not getting his calls right…

A scrap implies that the side is up for a scrap. At no point in that last 30 minutes did we show any sign of a scrap. We rolled over and died again!.

We will be relegated Im sure but come on, lets at least fight for our place in this division and not just surrender each week.

I really want him to come good, but am less and less confident with it everytime I see it.

Other than scoring a load of goals against sides of questionable standard in the Europa group stage early on last season, he's not really looked very good for us, has he?

His play for the first couple of months here was good TBF, but he's seemingly lost all confidence. Definitely not a trend there with this manager...

Team spirit soon disappears.  Lack of heartfelt inspiration from manager. So-

Change manager for someone more inspirational and suitably experienced.

Bring in Nigel. Clear out deadwood from the team.  Improvement will then follow.

You can’t blame them for not trusting Rodgers with their money.

How much did Rodgers spend last summer? Precisely 0 of those players started today. You can’t just keep backing a manager to sign shite players. It’s all on Rodgers this we have a bettter team than Soton but Rodgers has lost the players clear to see

BR doesn't sign the cheques plus rudkin is follow aware of the scouting reports and recommendations etc.

I just knew cha would score , remember him being born & growing up on cross hedge close Beaumont leys estate, Great family, always the same it’s either a ex Leicester player or a player from Leicester who FUCXS us up, Gutted we should of signed him a few years ago.

He wouldn’t have played much, so… Vardy is a massively better player

....the fans' reaction at the end is what is going to be the catalyst for them to act, there is now no doubt about their feelings about his tenure!!!

As much as I've come to respect you, I'm slightly positioned over the fence into BR's camp. No offence like 😉
