AVB has a good record right?

Yeah it is decent

Smashed it at Porto, didn't do so well at Chelsea, left Spurs with a higher win % than Poch, walked Russia, did a good job in China, then did very well at Marseille

I would take him, but apparently he is only looking to do 1 more job as an international manager for the 2026 World Cup then wants to retire

Vincent Company's Burnley playing exciting football, just switched on before going to the EPL ManU/Forest game and they score...with great build up play....like what Leicester used to do in the 15/16 season.

Wouldn't mind their manager here, our Belgium players would love him here..... Burnley players do seem to enjoy playing for him.

maybe a bit early for him, but he was clearly a leader on the field......think it's a good shout Crispin

Vincent Company would be awesome but I don't see him leaving Burnley if they get promoted.

Thomas Frank.
Seems a good bloke and has worked wonders with Brentford tbf.

I think he’d get us playing more consistently well

Just signed a new 5 year contract. Not that contracts mean much in football but nonetheless

Kompany is a good shout actually. Learned under Guardiola. Young, fresh ideas, commands respect and with a high profile. Ticks a lot of boxes. Would be good to get in before he goes to another prem club and does really well.

It's going to be about who's available when the board finally decide to pull the trigger !!

Managers are not going to walk away from Premier League jobs if things are going well.  Leicester would represent a sideways move for Frank or Kompany  assuming Brentford & Burnley are Premier league .

I get what you're saying but Leicester are not a big attraction at the moment. We are looking like a mid table club with limited ambition. Losing players like Tielemans, Soyuncu & Maddison doesn't send out positive vibes to potential managers.

The shame is that, as a football club, it used to be us finding the likes of Potter and Howe. Now we just go more ad hoc. Since Ranieri we seem to want to be progressive not have a manager that grows his reputation with us. These days we're more likely to go for Louis Van Gaal than Kompany or someone like Postecoglu at Celtic.

and a mid table club is what burnley would dream of being but would hold as an unrealistic expectation. Their ceiling is survival.
