New Manager? Who do you Want?

Recommended Posts

This is quite an interesting read, and he's apparently on £1.3m a year at Union.

We could treble his wages, meaning he'd be on less than half Rodgers' salary, and he'd probably still be at Brandenburg Airport waiting for a flight to EMA quicker than you could blink.

Anybody suggesting Dyche, even in jest, should be permanently banned.

Anyone who is daft enough to not even consider it needs to go see the nice doctor

Can't see us going for Dyche. It'll be another tippy-tappy, short goal-kick routine, Pep-wannabe merchant.

Would be disastrous if so. These players are not capable of that. Barely were when Rodgers was at his peak with us, but it was wonderful to watch at times. Mostly, our players look petrified with the ball and did nothing with it for most of the game. We need someone who is also open to going more direct. I don't mean long ball,. hoof, I just mean anything that is not, pass sideways, pass backwards... rinse and repeat.

Dyche would be the managerial equivalent of signing Vestergaard - all available evidence suggests it's not a good fit but we know who he is and he knows the league, which as we all know is a guarantee of success. It would, however, be quite funny after his obsession with our many pound notes and our status as market leaders to bring him in at a time when we're skint.

A quick look at the current Premier league table might make him and others think again

Serves him right then :)

Wait until he sees we could quintuple his money and he would still be one of the lowest paid managers in the league.

It going to be Sean Dyche because Top and few others rate him. In the past he came closer to getting the job..

Benitez was linked with us in 2018 and 2019. He was on a 3 person shortlist with Rodgers and Wagner.

Unlikely to sustain that, and a club the size of Union with their tiny budget can only go so far.
