Never in my life have I seen so many happy faces watching their club get relegated last game of the season. Some of our fans are laughable.

They're not proper fans.

Probably only started supported the club after the 2015/2016 season..

What a silly comment, to accompany a silly season, it had nothing to do with Fans.

Who said anything about the fans being to blame for our predicament? We all know full well who's to blame. I just want rid of the plastics we've picked up.

Just to put how much this has been a mess:

Annual wage bill:

PL1. Manchester United – £222,984,000
PL2. Chelsea – £169,720,000
PL3. Manchester City – £163,060,000
PL4. Liverpool – £141,782,000
PL5. Tottenham – £101,344,000
PL6. Arsenal – £85,490,000
PL7. Leicester City – £78,780,000
PL8. Aston Villa – £75,232,000
PL9. West Ham – £70,160,000
PL10. Newcastle United – £62,610,000
PL11. Crystal Palace – £59,180,000
PL12. Everton – £43,120,000
PL13. Wolves – £38,310,000
PL14. Fulham – £37,610,000
PL15. Southampton – £35,380,000
PL16. Bournemouth – £32,044,000
PL17. Nottingham Forest – £28,590,000
PL18. Brighton – £28,340,000
PL19. Leeds United – £17,300,000
PL20. Brentford – £15,240,000

Watford are the largest in the Championship at £26,800,900.

We’ve the highest wage bill of any team ever relegated from the league.

Ours gets cut in half after relegation, plus there will be huge swathes of players leaving now anyway.

Worth noting too that the increase in Newcastle's spending is down to their new owner and the fact they aren't restricted by the same rules we were when we won the league.

Our fan base will decline as we are now out the fast lane of the Prem, revenue will drop, we will bounce back, how long that will be is anyone guess

What makes me piss is that most of them were middle aged. They were giving it big licks to the lads in SK1. I know a lot of the lads in the signing section are young but they have a right to voice their opinion. It’s a fvcking disgrace man. Watching grown men jump seats to start a scruffle because they don’t like others opinion. I fvcking hate this season man, thank fvck it’s over.

Wonder when people will noticed that 'Anyone but Rodgers' didn't work.

It literally couldn't have been any worse with him in charge,

Yes it could. Smiths points per game was 1.125. Rodgers' was 0.89 this season and he was on a run of 1 point in 6 games.

It wouldn't have made it to today for relegation if Rodgers was in charge

It literally couldn't have been any worse with him in charge,

Smiths point return: 9 in 8, 1.125 points per game

Rodgers points return: 25 in 28, 0.89 points a game

we'd have finished bottom with that egomaniacal midget in charge

My first game was 1973, followed city through thick and thin home, away.  I'll enjoy the ride, support the team no matter what league we are in. "The good times and the bad".

No point dancing around it. It's now a proposition this season, even if you don't think its a serious one, it's much closer to that than it should be. Without making substantive changes we are in trouble.

We might not be one of the 3 worst teams in the league, but we're certainly amongst the 3 worst-performing.

Would we survive going down? I can't imagine that many of our players have relegation clauses.

Called it in August 2022. What a thread opener….

So as we've all thought the polar opposite of the league winning season, an those in the media saying Rogers wasn't backed. Everton are a prime example that it isn't just about spending money to succeed.

Seems like Brentford has the best return on investment.
