Popular Post kristianity77 Posted 28 May 2023 Popular Post Share Posted 28 May 2023 The worrying thing about our relegation is that the owner and the idiots at the top will think we just have to turn up to go back up. The arrogance running through our club is embarrassing. Absolutely no chance we finish in the top 6 next season. Personally I think we've got more chance of dropping again due to the mass exodus of mismanaged players we will have.

Brentford – £15,240,000 Watford are the largest in the Championship at £26,800,900. We’ve the highest wage bill of any team ever relegated from the league. Ours gets cut in half after relegation, plus there will be huge swathes of players leaving now anyway. Worth noting too that the increase in Newcastle's spending is down to their new owner and the fact they aren't restricted by the same rules we were when we won the league. Pete from the USA Posted 28 May 2023 Share Posted 28 May 2023 Big picture, this was from the pandemic and dropout of duty free revenue for King Power group. Delayed a squad refresh. Rodgers didn't know how to handle it. Wrong manager for a bad situation that was nobody's fault.

What makes me piss is that most of them were middle aged. They were giving it big licks to the lads in SK1. I know a lot of the lads in the signing section are young but they have a right to voice their opinion. It’s a fvcking disgrace man. Watching grown men jump seats to start a scruffle because they don’t like others opinion. I fvcking hate this season man, thank fvck it’s over.

It literally couldn't have been any worse with him in charge, Yes it could. Smiths points per game was 1.125. Rodgers' was 0.89 this season and he was on a run of 1 point in 6 games. It wouldn't have made it to today for relegation if Rodgers was in charge

It's now a proposition this season, even if you don't think its a serious one, it's much closer to that than it should be. Without making substantive changes we are in trouble. We might not be one of the 3 worst teams in the league, but we're certainly amongst the 3 worst-performing. Would we survive going down? I can't imagine that many of our players have relegation clauses. Called it in August 2022. What a thread opener….
