What is Rodgers obsession with signings like these? Daft hair cut, erratic, no premier league experience. Could have gone and got Craig Dawson but I suppose that doesn’t fit Rodgers narrative. Sadly, have no faith in any of his signings any more.

Again, why do people want Craig Dawson? We need someone with some pace and can pass alongside Evans, not someone as slow and poor on the ball as hm! We play such a high line, two donkeys isn't going to work

Whats the obsession with pace and defenders who can pass? We need defenders that can defend. Morgan, Huth, Wasyl, Taggart, Walsh, Elliott, all weren’t quick nor all particularly blessed with ball playing skills but all knew how to defend. Perhaps it’s about time we revert back to what made us successful.

You mean like Vestergaard with all his Premier League experience??? Our 3 major signing failures - Perez, Bertrand and Vestergaard - all had PL experience and were Rodgers/Congleton signings.

We've had far more success buying players like Faes than players with PL experience.

Not having Perez lumped in the same bracket as Vestegaard and Bertrand. Not even sure you can class him as a ‘major signing failure’ given he contributed to the FA cup win and 5th place finishes.

Musa, Slimani, Silva…all bigger failures than Perez and weren’t cheap buys.

Putting Perez in this category based on his fee, which was reportedly £30 million. If you think he's delivered what was expected from him, you have low expectations. First season's returns were OK but since then, they've been poor. A good impact sub for £30 million, wow.

The list is very long for successful signings who are young, high potentials. Both Slimani and Silva were highly experienced players too, albeit not in the PL.

Faes electric,

His hair’s barely even geometric,

But his jawline’s perfect-ly symmetric,

We’ll turn him shit in time.

Faes Electric,

His hairs not shit, it's eccentric.

He does things we never expected,

and he hoooolds the line!

I always have issues with fat shaming, especially if its against someone who has done wonders for our club since she started working here. People should show some more respect.

Wasn't even fat shaming though was it? He called her big, which she is. Much as 'lil' Wes was small compared to big Wes.

When did stating fact become so unfashionable?
