What a ridiculous thing to say. 
 

However, and this is not in his defence - booing Ward when he touched the ball at Brighton is f’king ridiculous behaviour and isn’t going to help things. 
There didn’t appear to be a lack of effort yesterday (until maybe last 10/15) but just a total lack of confidence, cohesion, strategy. None of the players knew whether they were coming or going, there were no tactics - I genuinely felt sorry for them out there, it was lambs to the slaughter and that’s on Brendan. 
Fans have every right to vocalise how they feel but jeering Ward/Ndidi especially when they had the ball yesterday just isn’t going to help.
