I've really enjoyed my time as a fan of this club, it's been a great lifetime, and I'll keep supporting the club until someone tells me otherwise. I'd like us to be higher up the table, but I may have taken us as high as I can. I take full reponsibility, and fully accept the consequences.

 

Please make my £10 million payoff cheque out to British Gas, might as well cut out the middleman, might be able to have the heating on for 20 seconds in December and boil a saucepan of peas at somepoint off that.

Such a stupid statement, this is something I’d expect a manager of a kids Sunday league team to say to the parents on the side of the pitch. We are talking about professional football players who are managed by a man being payed a lot of money.
 

I’d say their manager coming out with quotes such as “were missing pieces of the jigsaw” playing his players out of position and words to the effect of his squad not being good enough is provoking more of an anxious feeling than any boo or murmur from the crowd.

The only reason the team is anxious and nervous to play the ball out from the back is because our players are not good enough to do so.

Naturally if you see a player who is uncomfortable on the ball as fans you hold your breath even more so when they're being closed down at speed. If Rodgers thinks we are going to cheer everytime Amartey or Ward fumble on the ball and gift possession away then he is deluded. 

 

The answer is fairly simple...if they're not capable of keeping possession and remaining calm then they shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11

Not difficult is it? Unless you only think of yourself and your own career and nothing else.

 

When he first came, no doubt he was told certain things. He was very happy to ride on the crest of a wave most of which had been handed to him on a plate!

 

However, just in case he missed it, the whole world has been subjected to certain historical upheavals, let alone football clubs. Because of this and associated matters, our owners circumstances have changed somewhat and also therefore our football club.

 

Rodgers previous dealings with our owners were such that you'd think he'd show some respect and support. Actually, the reality is, people would understand where he was coming from and respect him the more for it.

 

However, his selfish response has been to publicly cast doubt on his players abilities over a period of time which is demoralising. He's shown absolutely no respect to our owners. Oh and now it's our turn I understand. What a snivelling odious little creep of a man. 

 

Doesn't really matter what the media think, say or spread regarding their favourite son, we know the truth and as a club we're better than that. We know we are, we've proved everyone wrong before. Ditch him sooner rather than later Top, we can do better without him. If we can't afford new players this time round then it's not the end of the world, so be it. Suck it up and march forward. 

 

Somewhere out there is a manager who can turn all that nonsense into a positive and instill some confidence into our lads. They absolutely have the ability, they just need someone to tell them and believe them in order to wash away the pessimistic 'we're oh so grateful and mindful of our place' attitude Rodgers has poisoned them with. Reasonable easy to comprehend tactics with players played to their individual strengths in their best suited positions would be a great starting point. 👍🏻
