She lived to a great age and lucky not to have suffered like a lot of folk when they get old.

Just said to my Wife, this is the first time we haven't had our queen, she pointed out it's the first time in our parents life they won't have a queen.

Strange feeling, watching the news earlier it was almost like they knew already and maybe waiting for the family to be around her.

 

Even though they stated she was comfortable something just felt off all afternoon.

I’m not personally much of a monarchist, but 96 years old and 70 years of service has to be respected. 
 

The global outpouring of emotion when people thought it might be the end has been quite staggering, I think the next few days will prove just how popular she was across the world. 
 

Very historic day, and a sad one at that.
