Absolute end of an era for GB and the Commonwealth. Sadly Charles, who will become King is already 73. Some of us will see the deaths of 2 reigning monarchs in their lifetime.

RIP HM Queen Elizabeth. The nation will miss you. :worship:

I pointed out to my kids a while back that they will probably see four monarchs.

Did Prince Harry make it there in time?

On BBC's coverage it said he was still on his way to Balmoral and then shortly after the news broke.

Very sad if he and the family didn't make it in time :(

Think it’s extremely likely, I don’t think there’s a chance she died when reported

Well they’re saying she died earlier this afternoon on bbc. I assume that they waited until all were there before they announced it.

Just said to my Wife, this is the first time we haven't had our queen, she pointed out it's the first time in our parents life they won't have a queen.

Rest in peace

Yes indeed. I was saying to my wife that we our daughter and grandchildren all born in her reign.

Time of death was 14:37 apparently. According to a Royal Family biographer
